PROJECT
FINISHED
Preparing for the Journey” project will be carried out as a five day meeting in the framework of partnership building for organisations working with young people.
In a group of 24 youth workers, EVS coordinators, and mentors we want to learn from one another how to carry out international youth exchange projects, European voluntary service, or international initiatives in the frame of Erasmus + Youth programme. A. The principles of the meeting are to get to know each other, enter into good relations and to improve the quality of cooperation in carrying out further projects. All presented projects will serve as an inspiration and encouragement to future cooperation. Apart from that we plan to hold a meeting with some mass media experts which will let us learn how to communicate with newspaper journalists or television reporters. This competence will let us present and utilize the results of our actions better. The project will make it possible to show the tools and capabilities of the young people focused on our youth groups. It will also let us make new leaders, who have dreams, ideas and passion to act but do not always know how to make them happen. At the same time, we want to learn how to look to the future, act with a vision, and do long-term plans. By faith we want to come out of the safe boat and start walking on water during the brainstorm, discussions, workshops, and we want to start preparing joint activities with young people in our groups and ogranisations. The outcome of the meeting will be the new projects such as, voluntary work, youth exchanges.
