Vocational pupils: The vocational school Lucien Voilin is certified since 2009 "High School Sale Certification". It offers different school trainings. The school is located in Puteaux , near the largest European business district, La Défense. Our vocational school fights against: - An large percentage of student absenteeism - Students immobility - Lack of motivation To overcome these difficulties , the school offers an English European section for the vocational baccalauréat Welcoming and a mobility for some students. Objectives 1: Improving the employability and further studies 2: Improving the language level to make participants good professionals 3: Promoting personal development, integration , open mindness to European citizenship 4: Helping participants to motivate themselves and improve their exam results 5 : Reducing absenteeism and exclusions Mobility: Where and When? Our project involves two mobilities. The first one concerns a mobility with 9 students. They will do a four week-work experience in an Irish company and will start in September 2014. The second one concerns a mobility for 10 students and will be held in Cork in September 2015, with 19 participants. For three years, the school has been establishing a strong economic relationship with many companies in Cork. In order to ensure the monitoring and placement in host families, we have worked for three years with our partner, Destination Mobility, which knows exactly our requirements in terms of placement and monitoring. Participants in this mobility will be integrated in Irish companies and will develop the following skills: - Welcoming face-to-face and via the phone - Assisting and supervising customers - Selling products or services
