In the strategy for the development of PGSS in the period 2014 - 2020 one of the main objectives are: the formation and development of knowledge and skills for life and future profession, building social and professional competencies, adequate not only for the present but also for the future; development and improvement of employability through effective practical training in a real business environment and lifelong learning. An opportunity to achieve these goals provides us the Erasmus + program. The project is aimed at people in initial vocational education in agriculture and tourism. The goal is the beneficiaries to acquire new knowledge and skills, related to key issues for the development of the two main branches of the economy of the country, to prepare them as skilled, motivated and entrepreneurial professionals, by work placement in a real working environment in Spain. The beneficiaries, 20 girls and boys studying in PGSS, Chirpan from 9th to 12th class, will have their two weeks mobility in the region of Barcelona, with the partnership of Nexus organization and will be divided into two areas. In the field of "Agriculture" - 10 students will be included from the specialties "Agricultural Mechanization", "Plant Protection and Agrochemistry", "Perennials", "Agricultural holding" and in the field of "Rural tourism" - 10 students selected, as set out in the project proposal criteria, from the specialties, "Rural Tourism" and "Production and service in restaurants and places for catering and entertainment." The achievement of the objectives in the project, will be accomplished through lectures and practical activities. Using interactive methods, the beneficiaries will learn to be creative and to generate ideas. We have planned the work program for the beneficiares in the area of "Agriculture" four lectures, but for those in the area of "Rural Tourism" -2 and one common lecture for the two areas. Due to the good theoretical knowledge of the students, we emphasize on the practical work on the ground. Students from the area of "Agriculture" will upgrade the knowledge and competencies for: construction, operation and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems, used in agriculture; activities improving the state of the land and preserving its fertility, the basic principles of organic farming and its differences and advantages over the traditional one; innovation in engineering and technology in the cultivation of crops and livestock; proper combination of food and drinks for healthy eating, preparing food in an untypical setting complied with the European requirements. Upgrading of new knowledge and developing skills in the field of rural tourism will be a major task for the students in the area of "Rural tourism". They will improve in: welcoming, accommodation and serving guests in rural manors; preparation of dishes from different cuisines, organizing and conducting of fun and entertainment animation program for guests, preparing food from organic farming; From the implementation of the outlined theoretical and practical activities we expect the beneficiaries to obtain new and necessary knowledge and competence in the field of agriculture and rural tourism, which successfully to be implemented; to develop their scent for the new and what is wanted; to continue their education, to develop their own business and become skilled specialists. The experience gained from the practice will create in them attitude for entrepreneurship for development of sectors at regional level, which will revive the economy of Chirpan region, and will preserve and develop the traditions. The obtained knowledge in Spain will motivate the beneficiaries for continuing, maintaining and upgrading training, participation in European projects and will make them active participants in the learning process. The established contacts during mobility will allow them to exchange ideas, best practices and useful cooperation. Europass Mobility Certificate will give them a greater opportunity to find a job. The acquired knowledge and experience will provide beneficiaries a matching with their professional training and the requirements of the the labor market in current and prospective plan.
