The short term experience in Austrian foreign schools offers participating teachers the opportunity to get an insight into this special form of schooling. In these schools (Budapest, Istanbul, Prague, Shkodra) mostly students from the host country are being taught, hence their first language is not german. Participants of this program get a glimpse of the local culture and observe lessons in German as a foreign language. The tasks are: - Observations, Jobshadowing - Discussions with teachers - Exchange of experience - Workshop - Insight into the local culture, language and school system. The HLTW21 takes part in this project in order to gain new cultural perspectives and to build a network with other schools in the EU. Mag. Manuel Lamprecht will visit the foreign grammar school in Prague for 11 days.
