The project focuses on foreign practical training for 12 students of 3rd grades of business education and economic lyceum. The school has verified the quality of vocational education and for its students it will get superstructure in the form of new expertise applied to teaching. Economic Lyceum students will improve their business skills and expand their language knowledge of terminology. They will become familiar with accounting related with legislation of the UK and will compare it with the Czech Republic. Students has verified their ability to apply their theoretical knowledge into practice as well. They also will become familiar with the requirements of the labour discipline and acquired work habits abroad that will enable them to apply for attractive jobs.
All participants improve their language skills. Integral part of their internship is to learn to tolerance and cohesion, independence and ability to make decisions and take responsibility. These acquired skills and attitudes will lead to overall personal development.
The internships been realized in one cycle. Exit was conducted from 24 April 2016 to 7 May 2016 in order not to disturb them of graduation exam preparation. On the contrary their participation in the project will support and deepen their already acquired knowledge. The internship Their scholarship was recognized as part of the school educational programme - day practice. For the purposes of monitoring, validation and dissemination of the project, participants filled out an internship diary. After returning they will elaborate presentations about their internship with the use of photos and descriptions of their work. In addition economic lyceum students will elaborate the characteristics and organization of the company. Presentations became the basis for evaluation their practice.
The aim of the project was to improve the training quality of students and their starting position for the labour market. Other objectives of the project are strengthening language skills, students’ self-confidence, improving social, intercultural skills. Other important objectives are improvement of motivation to further education, the use of required information, removing barriers.
Foreign experience and practice of direct participants motivated and influenced other students of school positively. Knowledge of different educational system, methods of work and commitments of partner organizations and companies was other benefits in the field of our school work quality .The project dissemination outside the official school by formal and informal presentations of participants increases the prestige of the school and will affect future recruitment of primary school pupils and the long-term benefit of the project.
