Youth form Voluntary Labour Corps in Starachowice is going to take part in this project. Those are mainly vocational school students in professions such as : hairdresser, cook, fitter of finishing works in construction. Because of the politics of our organization students are obliged to take apprenticeship in special training workshops. Instructors of vocational training are responsible for the implementation. Our youth lack of direct contact with the employer, they also have not got chance to check its professional capabilities in the workplace. Students are going to take part in traineeship in Italy, Spain and Portugal. During their traineeship, as a fitter offinishing works in construction, youth is going to check modern techniques and technologies used during finishing works especially in case of dry building. Cooks are going to check new procedures of regional dish preparation. Hairdressers are going to learn about new services used in countries of their destination, what is more they are going to use some professional equipment and they will have direct contact with customers, it will be novelty for them. Fitters of finishing works in construction are going to learn new techniques used in architecture. The most important of all will be language practice with the use of professional vocabulary what is compatible with the new curricula in vocational education. What is more students are going to consolidate their knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and environmental protection binding in European countries. Fitters are going to practice their knowledge of dry plaster and dry building. It is important that apprenticeship programs are in accordance with the curriculum for training stages. Projects focused on foreign internship is only chance for our students to widen their knowledge and professional skills, moreover it is also a chance to perceive the benefits of knowing the language. What is more during such foreign internships students might broaden their horizons as a result of meeting different culture and nation. The main aims of the project: - promote mobility, combine learning with work - improvement of skills and professional qualifications - cognition of the specifics of work in European companies - improvement of foreign language learning, especially in case of professional vocabulary - developing entrepreneurship among youth - increase of employment opportunities in the labour market - increase of motivation to continue learning - procurement of tolerance and acceptance towards other nationalities - rising self assurance. Traineeship are going to take place in : 1. Italy/ organization A Rocca, term: 29 September – 10 October 2014, fitter of finishing works in construction 8 students, cook 8 students, 2 teachers. Students of second year of vocational education, who have not got chance yet to take part in foreign internship. 2. Portugal/ organization Euromob, term: 12 April – 25 April 2015, hairdresser second year of vocational education and fitter of finishing works in construction also second year of vocational education, 8 hairdressers and 8 fitters of finishing works in construction, 2 teachers. 3. Spain/ Europrojectos, 10 May – 24 May 2015, hairdresser second year of vocational education 8 students and fitter of finishing works in construction second year of vocational education also 8 students, 2 teachers. 4. Italy/ organization A Rocca, term 10 – 23 April 2016 , hairdresser second year of vocational education and fitter of finishing works in construction second year of vocational education, 2 teachers. Traineeship is going to be a chance for our students especially when they decide to look for a job after graduating. Their employment opportunities significantly increase in the local and European labour market, what is more it will allow to avoid exclusion on the labour market after graduation. Moreover mobility will help them to learn more about different countries’ culture and life.
