In the project they were involved organizations and institutions involved in training and supporting the professional development of young people. Special Educational Centre in Strzelno in cooperation with partners: the company INTER International Education & Trainings and institution A Rocca, carried out a project called "Practice Vocational = My Success" within the Erasmus Plus. For good preparation of the project and ensure its proper implementation of the tasks are divided between all partners and developed an agreement that defined the scope of their responsibilities. Group covered by the project consists of 20 people with mental disabilities, but able-bodied. They were students of vocational schools, with educational profile: chef, pastry chef and schools preparing for employment (lab household). They were students from small towns and rural areas in difficulty, partly coming from pathological families with low social status. The project met the needs of young people with mental disabilities. They are understood as skills training coexistence and integration into society by preparing students to obtain the professional qualification. The project aimed at organizing work placements, taking into account psychophysical predisposition of students to prepare them for their future profession. During the internship, students performed tasks in accordance with the curriculum for each profession. Professional work of mentally handicapped people besides economic, is also of great importance rehabilitation because it is a source of satisfaction and motivation for further development. In addition, persons with mental disabilities with the ability to work professionally are fully prepared to social life. By participating in the placement of foreign students they are better prepared to function independently in society. The situation, when they were in a new place, but in the company of well-known colleagues and mentors, positive results in the development of their autonomy and socialization at the same time. This contributed to further strengthening the motivation to learn the profession. Certificates attesting to the placement of foreign students strengthened position in the labor market. This is a signal to employers that the graduate professional job well done and it is resourceful in life. Practices took place in Sicily in the period from 18.05.2015r. to 29.05.2015r.
