Our project „Apprenticeship in Germany key to career” was the answer on necessity to correct preparation of teenagers to take activity in the labour market and the connection of vocational education with the needs of labour market. The students took up a challenge of confrontation their gained knowledge with its practical used in realities of foreign country. The main aim of this project was improving of practical skills and mobility of participants in order to improve their attractiveness on labour market. Our project was carried out with collaboration of Vocational School Conerus Schule in Norden and German employers who collaborated with our partner school. Its aim was to improve the quality and attractiveness of educating in view in ZSP nr2 in Kępno, by active bringing employers into creating the schedules of apprenticeship for students in the following professions: construction technician, mechanic technician, farmer technician and agribusiness technician for the needs of regional labour market. There were 14 students from ZSPnr2 in Kępno who took part in the project in certain professions: mechanic technician, farmer technician, agribusiness technician and construction technician .They attended in apprenticeship from 20.04.2015-08.05.2015 in German enterprises collaborating with partner school Conerus Schule in Norden .The apprenticeship was an integral part of vocational training in Poland.Recruitment was in the contest form.Trainee were the students from the first and the second class of technical school who had a practical experience. The aim of this apprenticeship was to gain new vocational experience and adjust skills of future technicians to standards and requirements in industries and services on European market. The apprenticeships also allowed students to compare working conditions in Germany and Poland. Modernly equipped factories of our German partner allowed students to become acquainted with the latest technologies and the quality standards which are required in European Union. The additional benefit of it was to know by trainee the culture and habits of German region where the apprenticeship took place and the possibility of improving the language skills. The staying in Germany was also the occasion to learn entrepreneurship and self-reliance in pursuing their aims and they formed the ability to cooperate in groups of different nationalities. The experience which the students gained during their work in Germany increased the professional mobility of trainees in Poland and abroad. Moreover, the students had the motivation to gain new experiences and improve their skills. The result of this project was not only the fact that they will be asset for future employers but they will have bigger motivation to set up their own business .Gained skills were confirmed by certificates issued by factories and the document “ Europass Mobility’. Long –term collaboration of both schools, German and Polish employers guaranteed the realization of the aims of our project. Programme Erasmus + is an important complementary element of the education process for our school and it caused improving of vocational education system. The information about the project reverberate in our local area. The rank of our school has been improved. The permanent value of this project is also an experience in its creating, implementing and calculating. Meeting the challenging what gave us taking part in programme Erasmus+ motivating us to take part in next programme.The capital for future are arising during its realization networks with employers ,Cech Rzemiosł Różnych in Kępno,District Unemployment Office in Kępno and foreign institutions.The whole aims that have been set in application form were gained.There are a lot of teenagers who are interested in taking part in next edition of this programme what is an evidence of taking part in project was proper and realization of this project achieved its aim.
