By this proposal 1st EPAL Komotini as Sending Organisation offers its students a vocational training placement at a German workplace in Berlin . This mobility activity Is set within ERASMUS + Call for Proposals of 2014- KA1 and within a quality framework agreed upon the Sending organization – 1st EPAL and the Receiving – Host Organisation –BERLINK . 18 beneficiaries will undertake a placement in a German enterprise that fits well with the speciality they attend in 1st EPAL. The mobility program will take place in Berlin from 15-03-2015 until 29-03-2015 and it will include 10 day internship in various enterprises and socio cultural activities organized by the Host Partner. No of Participants 18 VET students and 2 accompanying teachers. The learning outcomes will formally recognized and assessed following the ECVET procedure. The objectives of this proposal are 1) to enhance the attractiveness , improving the quality and increasing the volume of mobility -Strengthening of the European orientation of participants and the cooperation between educational institutions and the enterprises . 2 ) to enhance the employability of young people through mobility on the European labor market and creating new employment horizons 3 ) the European perspective for the personal development and professional betterment of young european people 4 ) to enhance the attractiveness of vocational education and training and offer a positive mobility experience 5) the transparency and recognition of professional qualifications of participants of different training systems ( Greece - Germany ) through memorandum of mutual understanding in terms of learning outcomes 6 ) recognition and certification of knowledge and skills acquired through the mobility plan - Europass certificate supplement and ECVET- system transfer , recognition and accumulation of credits corresponding to knowledge skills acquired in non-formal education context and workplace, enriching the individual participant's portfolio not only for use in the labor market , but also for personal growth. 8) to gain the experience of living and working in Germany and specifically in Berlin, the famous European capital with historical buildings , rich history and cradle of arts and culture. 9) to motivate the learning of foreign languages (practicing English and English terminology and learning of basic German dialogues for everyday communication ) by exploiting the applications in smartphones and internet dictionaries and translation pages. 10) To cultivate the cooperation spirit and the teamwork 11) to highlight the benefits of internship and encourage the graduates of 1st EPAL to continue their studies attending the fourth year of apprenticeship - as stated in law no 4186/2013 The dissemination and diffusion of the results of the project will be by means of a great meeting in the auditorium of the 1st EPAL with an audience more than 300 people and through visibility in the local press ,on TV and social media facebook and twitter. Potential long-term benefits to a participant is finding work in Germany and the upgrading of qualifications and skills of the participants with the help of EUROPASS mobility and ECVET in the context of lifelong learning.
