PRÁCTICAS EN EUROPA

PROJECT
FINISHED
The financial crisis suffering, when we started the project, and suffers our country and the whole of Europe, necessitates an urgent response training area that allows for adaptability and mobility in a complex and demanding job market. Andalusia especially punished by unemployment (especially youth), suffers so aggravated the consequences of the crisis. If the labor market of the XXI century already implied the need for mobility, adaptability to different contexts and language skills, the current situation has not only increased these needs.
The professions training leading students of Cycles Media (CM) for Artistic Education belong to one of the sectors most affected by unemployment.
In this context, the project's main objective was to provide these students with professionals, individual and language skills that allow them to be inserted into the labor market within a European framework.
This goal was embodied in implementing the Training Module in Work Centres (FCT integrated into their curricula) in another EU country. So, we connect these students with different socioeconomic context, while acquiring skills that will facilitate their employment.
All in accordance with the European Development Plan.
The group of PARTICIPANTS was the 2nd year students of the CM of the center.
Applications are presented by an average of 8 students. The level of language has been a barrier that does not arise. As we planned mobility have taken out four students (2 streams 2 students each).
The target population in our project, which has finally undertaken mobility has specific characteristics: mean age of 37, has already worked before or remain precarious jobs.
Language level was higher than the expected relative to the average, so we conclude that the language is one of the deterrents of the application of mobility.
The level of education was expected for the target population. Of the 4 people who have finally been selected, 3 had much experience traveling abroad, in fact two of them had not only Spanish nationality.
ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN, the main project: mobility of students for training and / or practices in vocational training. FCT Development Module at the School of Art Kielce (Poland)
Phases of activities carried out:
1. Preparation collaboration agreements shipping center-host
2. Preparation of beneficiaries in country
3. Development of stay in the destination country
4. Preparation of certificates and documents for dissemination of project results.
RESULTS ACHIEVED. They were acquired and improved professional, individual and language skills by the beneficiary of student mobility, promoting greater integration into the labor market.
International relations between sending and receiving center were improved by strengthening European networks of collaboration between training and employment. In fact the host will present at next call a mobility project with our center as a reception center for students and staff.
IMPACTS ACHIEVED
- Students participant: overcoming module FCT abroad, and obtain the title of Technician Intermediate Plastic Arts and Design. Achieving and improving the necessary skills for job placement. A medium to long term, their employment (one of our students has begun to apply some of the knowledge gained with other materials in his own workshop, developing an autonomous work that has been possible thanks to this mobility)
- Our center: the center project already includes internationalization as de facto element influencing all aspects that reverses this. Membership in an international network that combines training and employment projects in the center image at local and regional level a new dimension, essential in a context of crisis which has as a direct consequence of the high rate of youth unemployment.
LONG TERM BENEFITS: generalization of such practices in other centers like ours. We are in contact with other centers to help and provide support in internationalization projects with students from Media Cycles. In the long term can contribute to carry out actions that help the employment of a student belonging to a professional sector with special difficulties and usually beneficiary of such projects.
Finally, the strengthening of European networks of training and employment allowing European educational and labor mobility, focusing on the implementation of the values on which this European framework takes shape.
