The 2 week course for European teachers of English language and methodology is a project that offers the opportunity - to gain a huge variety of teaching ideas and motivating materials for the English classroom (for instance creative activities engaging learner's imagination) - to improve the own English language skills - to exchange ideas and develop links with teachers from different Eurpean countries - to learn more about motivating mixed ability classes and differentiation - to find out more about the use of new technologies in the English classroom - to gain an insight into the British everyday life and the education system - to establish ties to other European teachers in order to iniate or to keep up motivating activities like e-twinning. In the long term, we would like to achieve: - a certain development of our school in terms of internationalization - the enlargement of our collegues' knowledge concerning their English teaching skills - more authentic and motivating English classroom quality for students and their communication skills. We intend to send abroad one dedicated English teacher who shows a considerable potential to implement the acquired knowledge into our school.
