The aim of the project “Work Experience through Erasmus+ Internships" is an improvement of theoretical knowledge and mainly practical professional skills of 24 students from graduation branch 39-41-L/01 “Autotronik” during their two-week educational stay-mobility in English Plymouth. The students will gain the opportunity of new experiences connected with their professional specialization through the practice in the real surroundings of the English firms. The participants of the project are 2nd and 3rd grade students who are able to service maintenance, diagnostics and repairs of motor vehicles. They can keep proper motor documentation and are oriented in failure and repair records and other documents. The sending organization SSTB (Secondary School of Technical Branches) will arrange for the stay participants: air transportation to London and back, travel insurance encompassing medical expenses, injury and insurance of responsibility, mentoring and support of the participants before their departure and at the place of the stay through the mediation of the accompanying person. The receiving organization “Almond Vocational Link Ltd” (on the basis of the SSTB demands) will arrange for the stay participants: the minibus transportation from London airport to Plymouth and back, local transportation along Plymouth, accommodation with the host families, full-board with the host families, suitable professional practical training on the basement of the sent documents (CV, Cover letter, Participant Registration Form), Europass-Mobility and ECVET certification, mentoring and participants support during their stay – this role is adopted by the “Almond” company tutor, who will be the guarantor of the stay. The tutor will be - together with theemployer supervisor and accompanying person– the creator of the work tasks for every visiting student. The sending organisation will arrange Europass CV taking into account the internship in Plymouth.During the practical stay in Plymouth the participants will perform the following activities:• Motor vehicle maintenance and basic diagnostics• Basic motor vehicle repairs, service and maintenance operations• Failure and repair activities records• Creating, recording and administration of technical documentation• Mastering basic processes in the area of machinery• Acquirement of basic knowledge of technical mechanics• Practicing of knowledge and skills in the areas of technology, electrical engineering and electronicsThe professional mobility stay abroad (in Great Britain) will develop the professional abilities and skills of the participating students and will improve their confidence in their future occupation. The professional training connected with everyday solving of individual and team tasks will lead participants to a responsible attitude in the workplace, to the awareness about firm cooperation, and all of these will be set in English. In the framework of the practicing expertness, the participants` interest in their occupation will grow. All the participants will deeper their professional experience and make stronger their responsibility in their future career. The form of ECVET certification will, in addition, ensure the international transparency and clearly arranged evaluation of the achieved results.
