“Power – LILI: Power of Living Library for fighting poverty and discrimination” is an international training course for youth workers on the topic of unemployment of young people with fewer opportunities. Thus, it fosters the professional development of youth workers working directly with vulnerable groups of young people by increasing their awareness of the challenges and social obstacles those young people are meeting; raising their sensibility and commitment to work in this field; and also by providing them with relevant theoretical knowledge and practical experiences. The training will also introduce the participants with Living Library – a technique that they can use in their future work in this field. In overall, the training seeks to improve the quality of work of youth support systems working with young people with fewer opportunities, particularly: disabled young people, young people from rural areas, early school leavers, youth offenders and Roma youth.Target group of this project are youth workers from Macedonia, Hungary, Serbia and Slovenia, working with young people with fewer opportunities in their organization. In total 24 youth workers will take part in the project, which will be held in Kavadarci, Macedonia, from 9th until 17th of November 2012. The project will be hosted by the applicant – Youth Association creACTive from Macedonia, while the other promoters will be also directly involved in its implementation. The activity program will be implemented by an experienced team of two trainers and one facilitator, who will be directly responsible for the Living Library elements.
