Project ERASMUS +, YOUTH MOBILITY - titled "Back to childhood" will be held in Kostrena, near the city of Rijeka in Primorsko-Goranska County in Croatia. The background of our project came to us because of our concern about childhood in the 21. century. We think that children are now more alienated from each other and that they spent too much time in their virtual life on the computer and less time in nature, on sport fields and amongst each other playing outdoors. The main objective of our project is that we through sport, creative workshops and multicultural interaction and multicultural bonding of youth, awaken awareness of young people about human diversity and acceptance of these differences as values through various activities and reflections of the participants from their experiences from childhood. The main goal is to introduce and raise awareness of the participants about the rights and needs of children and the importance of childhood for every person. The total duration of the project is scheduled from 18th June 2014 to 18th December 2014, while the activities of the exchange lasts for ten days, from 15th September 2014 to 24th September 2014. In the project will be included five countries from the EU and Europe (Poland, Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Croatia). The project will engage 5 participants + 1 team leader from each country and 7 Croatian participants. Activities will be based on interactive workshops in mixed groups that will be guided by participants. Project activities will include collaboration with kindergarten, primary school and scouts. The activities that we planed include playing different sports (football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, ping-pong), playing games from every country's childhood and other outdoor activities in nature. Methodology that will be used is group work, individual work, presentations and other informal methods of learning. Impact that we want to accomplish is to raise awareness of importance of a healthy childhood and upbringing. We want to question where our children are "lost" and how to get them back to each other. We hope that our partners will accomplish all of our goals and that they are going transfer that knowledge to their local community. Also we want to continue international cooperation with our partners on future projects.
