Project financed entirely by Erasmus + funds, Key Action 1, the mobility of the school staffThere are 12 teachers participating in the project: 3 English teachers, school’s head teacher, pedagogue, librarian, P.E. teacher, music teacher and four lower-primary teachers. In July and October 2016 the participants of the project titled “Potential as the measure of possibilities” will take part in methodology-language courses (English teachers) in Great Britain and Malta and in language courses in Malta, too. The aim of the trips is the improvement of the English teachers’ proficiency and for all the teachers – raising the level of skills in the use of English, which is indispensable for starting the cooperation between the teachers from schools in other countries, and enriching the teacher’s proficiency with knowledge, methods and tools presented in English-language publications. It will have a significant impact on expanding the educational offer of our school. It will certainly affect the results of education measured with our students’ achievements in tests, exams and external contests. The project will open our school to international contacts between schools, teachers and students. Within the project (job-shadowing) we want to visit Primary Schools in Iceland, Hungary and Finland to find out about their conditions, organization, teachers and their methods and tools. We count on a fruitful cooperation in the future. The duration of the project is 2 years.
