PROJECT
FINISHED
The participants of this project are Nonpublic Technical School of Radom (Poland), Sistema Turismo (Italy) and Europa Movilidad Estudiantil (Spain). ST and EME were carefully chosen by our experts in order to provide a three-week practice in Rimini and Valencia. This project is dedicated to students who are studying to become logistics specialists. Two groups of sixteen students are going to familiarize with new technologies and strategies applied by Italian and Spanish logistics industry. The major goal of the project is to teach project participants new professional skills based on European standards. The other goal is to encourage students to put into practise their abilities formerly acquired at school. Students will also acquire new, non standard skills that are going to be valuable addition to their educational process. Another purpose of this project is to expand their language competences. While practicing abroad, the project participants will perfect not only their every day English but also its professional and industrial use. They will also have a chance to practise Italian and Spanish respectively. This shall also motivate students to carry on learning foreign languages after they come back to Poland. Being introduced to local culture and history of visited countries is another important feature that develops inter-cultural skills. Moreover, giving them the opportunity to colaborate with professionals will teach them to cooperate and respect others and develop interpersonal skills. Everyday usage of information and communicational technologies will provide participants with the latest news from industry and leave space for their creativity. Encouraging to self-development and promoting cooperation on international level with both educational and occupational trans-European mobility will definitely prove to be an important asset to the students' attractiveness on the local and European job market.
Basing on accomplished project and earned experience we find the participants more mature and independent compared to other students. In the long run, the combined effects of the Project are expected to have a great influence on students’ international awarness and improve their career prospects. Growing interest in international apprenticeship among our students shows that there is a demand for this kind of practic.
