Project "Support for students with disabilities" aims to develop a structured dialogue and active cooperation between young people with disabilities, student ombudsmans and representatives of relevant institutions in the field of higher education with the intention of encouraging active participation of young people with disabilities in society and development of quality and sustainable system of support for students with disabilities. To achieve this, in period of 10 months we will carry out a research on the existing systems of support for students with disabilities in Croatia among the youth and representatives of relevant institutions; meetings of young people and representatives of institutions in Zagreb, Osijek, Split, Zadar, Koprivnica and Rijeka; conference, where the conclusions of the meetings and the results of the research will be presented to the general public. Through these activities we wish to contribute to the exchange of information, opinions and attitudes of young people with disabilities in the area of providing support to students with disabilities at the local, regional and national level in order to create a high quality, functional and sustainable system of support for students with disabilities in Croatia.
