Project entitled “Increasing language competences a chance for development of our school” prepared within the action Learning Mobility of Individuals of the Erasmus + programme aims at rising the quality of education at school. The project is scheduled for two years and involves mobility of twenty teachers participating in language, methodological and specialist courses.Mobilities of the education staff are to increase foreign language competences and acquaint teachers with innovative teaching techniques based on ICT. The proposed project is a result of clearly defined needs of the school: low level of achievement in language skills, little engagement in international projects and lack of digital skills in teaching.The direct participants of mobilities are:- teachers of foreign languages taking part in methodological courses to increase their competences of using ICT in class,- teachers of maths and science preparing for the introduction of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) at school, who will take part in a specialist course in that field, - teachers of other subjects than foreign languages taking part in language courses to increase their command of English.Acquiring new knowledge and skills by teachers will allow us to introduce innovative teaching approach – CLIL, make it possible to get involved in international projects and use innovative teaching techniques in class.All these activities should result in increased attainment of basic skills, better attainment of language skills and involvement in projects such as eTwinning, strategic partnership or student exchanges.The school will broaden its educational offer, introduce innovative teaching approaches in teaching maths and sciences and equip students with skills and knowledge, which will make it easier to find a job in the future.
