Poboljšanje programa rada i internacionalizacije 4. Osnovne škole Varaždin

Mobility project for teachers of 4th Primary School Varaždin addresses integration of children with special needs into the regular learning system, implementation of the new innovative curricula, improvement of educational methods, involvement of parents and the community in the school's work and absence of internationalization conditions at the school. The school enables integration of 29 children with disabilities into the regular learning system, and provides support in their social integration, which leaves the school to deal with one of the greatest challenges in the schooling in general. The school aims to respond with raising digital competences within the target group to present them more accessible digital world of learning, and also to gain know how and additional personal and professional skills that will enable different interventions to produce better learning outcomes and increase integration into the regular activities, but also to gain access to new innovative curricula, education methods and development of training courses for wellbeing of all children. The required competences are to be aquired by sending 3 teachers to mobility job shadowing programme in CP Mosaico (Mosaico Public School), Sevilla, Spain. School was choosen due to the fact that it has a team of teachers that works with special needs children, applies different teaching methods, develops new innovative approaches and has good collaboration with parents and community. The knowledge and personal/proffesional skills gained by the mobility participants will bring vast contribution towards school's development. It is expected that the new learning experience will improve learning outcomes in key competences at 4th Primary School Varaždin and build foundations for internationalization (this would be the first EU project implemented at the School). In the sense of long term objectives, it is expected that awareness of lifelong learning will be raised and optimal results in EU project development and implementation achieved.
