Nigde University Geology Volunteers community has formed to create awareness by Nigde University Geology department students. We will organize a project which name is Please Join us! Our project has been prepared under the Youth Exchange project and treat the environmental issues on an international scale and cultural development of young people. The project date is between 15.08.2015-22.08.2015. it will implement 8 days with Romania, Fundatia Adina Stiftelsen (FAS), Bulgaria, Bulgarian Youth Forum , Latvia, Jaunatne par İesaistisanos (JPI) , İtaly - Association of Social Promotion ''Digitale Future'' , ve Estonia, Seiklejate Vennaskond in Niğde. The total number of participants in our project is 37 person as we have planned. The aim of project named ‘’Please, join us!’’ is to approach environmental issues in the international arena, to work on environmental awareness and make the target group more productive at this topic to support the improvement of intercultural dialogue. At the same time; The introduction of the National Agency and European Union projects, to raise awareness about the EU environmental policy, supporting for social and cultural development of the participants and promotion of youth work organizations and institutions are the main issues we discuss. Our project will be implemented through non-formal education techniques. In this context; teamwork, group activities, seminars, intercultural learning methods, official visits and sightseeing activities will be performed. Expected results of our project is to gain an awareness of environmental issue. Some environmental issue such as efficient use of natural resources, increased cultural and social sensitivity about environmental issues, ensuring cooperation in the international arena are some of these ..And also increasing the participation of youth activity centers, the development of language skills of the participants, ensuring the development of personal skills and introducing the European Union projects and the National Agency with Erasmus+ programs are the some result we want to achieve at the end of this project.
