The project will create a model to identify and overcome existing barriers to the transferability of vocational qualifications for men and women working in the construction industry. The model will facilitate the transferability of vocational qualifications in the European construction sector and encourage the free movement of skilled tradesmen and women. The project will create a matrix of acceptable vocational qualifications, which will help: to identify training gaps and additional training needs for people whose qualifications can not be recognised among EU Member States; to identify and overcome the barriers to the transferability of vocational qualifications across EU Member States.
