“Permaculture for All “ is a project where twenty five youngsters, will gather for twelve days, prevenient from five different countries and will participate in a Exchange at Branca (district of Aveiro). Together they will recognize and value the role of permaculture and sustainability as powerful agents in the education process of at-risk youth, producing knowledge, exchanging tools and promoting the interchange of ideas and experiences, impacting society. This project aims to involve youngsters from various corners of Europe, in order to exchange experiences, and for them to raise awareness at sustainable solutions. Using permaculture as a source of inspiration we will encourage youngsters, raise awareness at the potential of it´s natural rural habitat, transform young people in active agents of rural development and to be active in the development of their community. Autonomy, solidarity, self-esteem, self-awareness, physical-fitness, communication, and adaptability are some of the skills that will be learned and practiced during Permaculture for All.The creation of cross-sector educational tools will enable the participants to improve their personal and possible future professional skills. Working closely with other European participants will allow them to have the opportunity to build an international network as well as to contribute to the development of a European identity and a civic sense. The outcomes will be the production of an educational documentary with all the tools, the intervenients, the problems and outcomes developed during the exchange and open day to the local community where will be held several presentations of the work done during the exchange.Any outcome from this exchange will be used by all partners involved in order to multiply the impact of the activities carried out through the media and dissemination on local, regional, national, European and international levels. In the long term, the partnership aims to extend the influence of the project before new places and new target audience.
