This objective of the project is to answer to the increasing elderly population in Europe by developing an e-based training tool for care and health professionals, especially care managers/assistants and nursing staff, working with older people. The aim is to undertake high quality and appropriate care-planning for elderly clients, and to support increased time spent home instead of in institutions. The expected impact is increased levels of skills, knowledge and expertise with regard to care planning and management, leading to higher quality health care service.
