The Training of Multipliers: Peace Bag- Mainstreaming Peace Education in Youth Work, gave youth trainers to explore on different creative and innovative ways to teach peace and intercultural dialogue through non-formal learning methodologies. The success of the Project was due to the fact that it was implemented in 3 phases. The first phase, held from 02 – 29 July 2012, consisted of 4 online pre-training modules, each module focusing on a specific theme or skills building. The 2nd phase, held from 26 August-02 September in Vilanova i la Geltru, Barcelona, gathered 20 youth trainers/educators/mutlipliers in an 8 day intensive training on skills and techniques in mainstreaming peace education through nonformal education. The 3rd phase, held from 02 September 2012 until 02 February 2013, was 5 months full of follow-up training, 1 day workshops or short sessions on peace education, implemented by the participants themselves as trainers. Participants evaluated/adapted some modules from the Peace Bag toolkit.
