In recent years youth unemployment has increased in Europe and the rest of the world due to the economic crisis “The economic crisis in the European Union has dramatically changed the youth labor market to a degree that in almost all European countries, several years since the start of the crisis, young people are still facing unprecedented difficulties in finding a job”. The European Commission has encouraged the use of existing mobility programs such as: Erasmus+ or former Youth in Action programme that focus on socio-economic needs and support young people in their personal development through non-formal education. Our project “PBA - youth employment and entrepreneurship” comes as a solution for youth workers on how to understand and provide in their projects an ideal environment for personal and professional development, self-responsibility and to foster youth empowerment through developing new E+ projects. Goal: Developing abilities and competences of 30 youth workers, youth leaders or volunteers of 10 non-profit organizations from 10 partner countries: Croatia, France, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Romania by organizing a 8 days training course between 1-8 October 2016 on building up partnerships for future youth exchanges under Erasmus+ programme focusing on entrepreneurship and employability in Navodari, Romania.Objectives:O1. To provide a meeting point to bring together 30 youth workers, youth leaders or volunteers from 10 non-profit organizations from the above mentioned countries and facilitate the building of reliable partnerships among organizations for future collaboration on youth exchanges focusing on entrepreneurship and employability of young people until the end of the project.O2. To improve the quality of youth exchanges that are applied under Erasmus+ programme by 30 youth workers, youth leaders or volunteers from 10 non-profit organizations from the above mentioned countries until the end of the project.O3. Designing at least 5 projects (youth exchanges) that will be applied in February deadline 2017 by 30 youth workers, youth leaders or volunteers from 10 non-profit organizations from the above mentioned countries until the end of the project. The project includes 30 youth workers, youth leaders or volunteers from 10 partner countries, 10 of them facing geographic, social and economic barriers and one trainer from Romania, respective one trainer from Hungary and another 2 experienced facilitators. We will select 30 participants over 18 years old and no maximum age limit requirement. The PBA project consists of 6 phases as follows: P1-Building groups, getting to know each other, safety and protection measurements; P2- theoretical background and hands on experience about Erasmus+ and the available possibilities offered by the programme for youth with main focus on KA1 - youth exchanges and the relation between youth work and entrepreneurship and employability of young people; P3- xperiencing ways of building partnerships and understanding the process of choosing a partnership as a method that answer the needs and objectives of each organization; P4- work visit in the community to identify the needs of the community and to write the idea of a youth exchange project in order to respond to the needs; P5- designing the project (YE); P6- planning the next steps for applying the YE; Methodology: In order to fulfill our activities we make full use of participative nonformal educational methods like: animation of the participants, games, learning by doing, reflection sessions; individual learning; active participation in group activities, quiz, graphic facilitation and collaborative mind-mapping, case study; Results and impact:Participants will develop competences and skills on project management and project writing by developing a project under Erasmus+ KA 1 Learning Mobility of Individuals- YE. Moreover, our partners will increase the capacity of project development inside their NGOs as their youth workers will come back with new project management and project writing skills. Most important, they will apply with better quality Erasmus+ projects and they will increase their network of reliable partners with whom they will collaborate to apply projects. By applying with at least 5 projects in February deadline, we will involve other young people to take part in the approved projects, fostering youth entrepreneurship and employability and contributing to solving one of the four strategic objective of the framework Education and Training 2020 (ET 2010) focus “on increasing young people’s employability and enhance creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship”.The results of our PBA project will be distributed among other partners outside Europe and this project will be followed with interest from their side. In this way, our partners will increase their capacity of designing new PBA project involving also partners from outside Europe.
