PAST ... FOR FUTURE is a youth exchange in Turkey about traditions/handcrafting and entreprenuership 20 youths and 4 leaders from Romania and Turkey will explore this topic for 5 days in wonderful Konya, Turkey, doing workshops, city rally, meetings in a methodology based on non-formal and informal methods. Through this project, we intend to explore traditions, especially hadcrafting as opportunity to entrepreneurship; entrepreneurship and handcrafting are very important nowadays and we want to explore the connection between the two, to focus on the opportunities that traditions and handcrafting offers to reduce youth unemployment. Our objectives for this project are: -to get knowledge about entrepreneurship skills -to identify the qualities of an entrepreneur -to discover and explore traditions, handcrafting and folklore in the 2 countries -to bring attention to heritage in the modern time -to engage in identifying the importance of traditions on European level in connection to entrepreneurship -to gain self-empowerment and self-esteem; -to raise intercultural awareness; -to improve knowledge on the European project and the EU values; -to improve competences linked to their professional profiles.
