Summary:Participants: 12 pupils from the Building-and Construction-class and 2 teachers.Needs adressed: Vocational pupils often lack selfreliance when it comes to professional, personal and linguistic skills.Aim: To motivate the pupils for their vocational education, expand their horizon, get knowledge about working life in Germany, make them more employable for the European working market in the future and support their personal groth and development. The specific professional aim is to know how and why build Passive houses. We have decided together with our partner school that this is what the pupils are going to focus on. They are also going to study how houses have been built differently through history. The aim is to give the students an international perspective on their profession. They will experience the German working life. They will also learn German social skills and how to comminicate in English and a bit in German. Expected outcome: -awareness about the "green" shift in the labour market through knowledge about Passive Houses-a final report about the whole project-personal growth and employability into the European labour marketWhere: At KomZet Biberach, Germany and the work placements will be around the school. When: Winter/spring 2017.
