The Contact Making Seminar will take place in July 2014 in Innsbruck (Austria), with youth workers and activists from 6 different european partners. In 5 days of active seminar activity, we will provide the opportunity to establish an international cooperation in the field of youth active citizenship and inclusion through art, to improve the quality of our next Action.
Our project's goal is to promote young people's inclusion through diversity in order to develop social cohesion and youth self-development. The project intends to equip youth workers with the necessary competencies to enable them to supply expression, participation and the inclusion of young people both in their local communities and in an international framework.
The aim is to mix (Mixing people from different backgrounds and creating a new sense of community thinking along these lines) and create links between people from different social and educational backgrounds and to use the methodology as a tool to decrease the demographical gap (economic and social gap) which is getting stronger every da
A common tool to work on a project like this is the "kultur fabrik" like Die Bäckerei. It is for us a tool to involve young people in society and put forth their participations and social competence in a European frame. In order to work on this topic, we would try out a long term EU project to improve youth's participation and mobility thanks to events, workshops with art as a methodology, seminars of good practices, mobilities...
