Les Têtes de l’art association (literally Heads of art) is an educational non profit organisation which offers a panel of activities fostering long live learning. The association acts for Europe of the citizens, social inclusion and intercultural dialogue by using information and communication technologies and capacity building. In order to respond to both objectives which are part of the global strategy of the association, capitalisation and European development, it wishes to offer to it staff in charge of adult education a mobility project of 1 year duration. The staff will be accompanied in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of the mobility to Stockholm, Sweden and the overall project. During a 5 day seminary, our staff will meet with 4 organisations active in the adult education field; a creative cluster, a youth capacity building programme operator, an incubator for enterprises in the creative field and a citizen media operator. The mobility project has been conceived to respond and take into account to the following specific and common needs of the staff and the organisation: • Foreign languages competences, • Competences for the building of European cooperation projects and networks,• Capitalisation of knowledge and skills, • Intercultural competences,• Cohesion and transversal approaches. The participation to the project will make the staff improve significantly these 5 skills and increase their autonomy and taking of initiatives. Beyond these skills, the meeting with selected organisations will enable the participants to confront their practices and knowledge in education and training with those of the staff of the receiving organisation. The act of stepping back from its own context will enrich our staffs knowledge and will influence their future way to work. The means offered to the project are manly our internal competences, including those of our board members. This concerns communication and dissemination to a wider audience, the creation of communication documents (text, video and photo), the overall coordination, the administration and management and the evaluation. We may call for external experts to cover parts of the preparation in language competences, intercultural competences and storytelling. In this perspective, our aim is to build our experience as an actor of Europe engaged in long life learning education. This aim influences not only on the personal level, but also on the cultural and intellectual life of our association, our community and ecosystem and our partners on the local, national and European scale.
