The social and economic situation in the counties is different, but the structural problems are similar: a small number of SMEs, low levels of employment, incomes lower than the national average, fragmentation and at community level ,often complete lack of the institutions called upon to tackle these problems.The general objective of the project is to make the organizations in Hajdu-Bihar and Bihor counties capable to contribute to their respective social-economic development .The specific objectives are the following: increasing the awareness and sustainability of the work of organizations, enlarging the NGO, non-profit and management knowledge of the organizations, and developing the cooperation between organizations.The target groups of the project are: NGOs and parochial organizations, local inhabitants of the settlements and micro-regions, the would-be participants and clients of the programs and services implemented, the experts, decision-makers and local governments that would like to implement micro-regional development programs, built on drawing on the local resources and empowerment of local communities.The main activities of the project are : selection of the organizations, fine-tuning of the assessment of needs and demands of all the organizations, starting the preparations of the Bihor advisors, defining of the vision and mission, analysis of the external and internal circumstances (local workshops), elaboration of organizational and professional strategies, discussing and approving the strategies (local workshops), compiling the program and service portfolio, elaborating the application for funding (local workshops), network development seminars, setting up the community and organization development network of Bihor.Project results: 30 program and service portfolios, at least 20 programs of applications for funding for the participant organizations and at least 3 networks of organizations. Creation of the first community- and organizational development network in Bihor.
