The project is set out to offer support to parents to develop their skills and competencestowards the vocational guidance of their children, thus enabling them to assist pupils intheir professional choices. Also the project advocates the concept of peer-parents withinparents education. The project partnership is aiming to:- develop a training course (30 hrs) available on CD-Rom, accompanied by trainingmaterials for trainers and learners;-offer a thematic communication platform as a vocational guidance tool for parents,within non-formal education;-encourage cooperation in the field of vocational guidance between guidancecounsellors in schools and parents ;-facilitate and increase the participation of parents in the vocational guidance process;- improve communication between children and their parents as a result of the jointparticipation in making crucial lifetime decisions;- improve the effectiveness of pupils' professional choices ad the correlation with thedemands of the labour market.
