The funding helped to design the road ensuring safer access to the border atHercegszántó. The project included the preparation of the designs for theconstruction of road no. 51. Going west to east, Hercegszántó is the first bordercrossing between Hungary and Serbia. Due to the border crossing, the road involved inthe project is a road with heavy passenger traffic. The quality of the road is objectionable,the road surface is in a bad condition, which hinders those trying to access the border aswell as the local population. A precondition of the road construction was the preparationof the building permit design & construction design for the section concerned and theobtaining of the construction permit.
