Objectives of the project:
improve qualification of teachers, who work in basic education schools, through international mobility and experience of the advanced European countries;
promote the development of modern pedagogical practices in schools of Rokiskis district;
ensure effective cooperation between teachers and leadership through the sharing of experiences;
monitor the quality changes of educational services and publicize best practices of our schools.
The teachers working at basic educational schools will improve their qualification, promote development of modern pedagogical practices, ensure effective cooperation among teachers and monitor the quality changes of educational services. Teachers, who work at basic schools, face many problems, such as learning difficulties and lack of students` motivation or teachers` cooperation. Teachers will use their practical and theoretical knowledges gained in foreign countries and transfer them into the teaching process among the colleagues.
It was a consortium between Rokiškis District Municipality and its subordinate schools. 18 teachers to go to training in three European countries (Finland, England and Greece) and shared the lessons learned with their colleagues.The teachers working at basic educational schools improved their qualification, promoted development of modern pedagogical practices, ensured effective cooperation among teachers and monitored the quality changes of educational services. Teachers, who work at basic schools, face many problems, such as learning difficulties and lack of students` motivation or teachers` cooperation. Teachers used their practical and theoretical knowledges gained in foreign countries and transfered them into the teaching process among the collegues.
At least 5 per cent of teachers in Rokiskis District working with students of age 10 – 16 years, were given a valuable opportunity to practice in European countries such as Greece, Finnland and the UK and share their experience with collegues.
The changes in teaching and education are monitored by the Department of Education.
