Elementary period (4+4) includes 6-13 ages in Turkey.First four years period called Basic Education (Primary School) deals with students’education under age 10. According to Education Scientist Piaget,over ages12 defines as abstract operational period and ages between 7-11 defines as substract operational period.Therefore,Basic Education Period includes substract operational period.In this period mental of learning can not be understood perfectly but objects which can be seen and handed are mostly used.It is urgently at this period that kids must play and do different activities by learning.Thus,students can make living and applying learning happily,finally they can get long term learning in this period.Thanks to this education model , students are at the center of learning and they also learn how to train ,get self confidence and ability of structured based learning.By this way, they can make positive learning transfer to next education grades.This education model implements actively in European countries such as Finland,Poland,Germany, Czech Republic and Belgium. We can check this reality because these countries are at the top levels in Europe according to the results of Program of International Students Assesment (PISA) done by OECD. Turkey decided to change the Basic Education Program in 2012 because Turkey is at the low levels in PISA exams. The Ministry of National Education changed programs and functions (objectives) in Basic Education by lighten the course load. In addition to Visual Arts,Music,Physical Education lessons, Free Time Activity,Games and Physical Exercises lessons implemented at schools so many students are interested.However,all these struggles done by The Ministry could not find expected hopes from Basic Education teachers. Because teachers don’t have suitable graduation for the new approach.Not only all Basic Education teachers are not from Primary School Teaching department but also most of them pass from different branches out of teaching to become teacher. Most of them can’t process 5 hours a week Games and Physical Exercises lesson appropriate for objectives and functions of lesson. Instead of this lesson they process different lessons such as Maths,Turkish and Life Information. Therefore,expected learning and training can not be done according to objectives and so expected success can not maintain in higher grades. We as all school,want to solve this important problem by observing how lessons process and watching successful applications in Europe especially in Czech Republic in order to increase our teachers’ ability.For this purpose,we prepared our Project which contains teachers’ mobility.We ,with totally 12 participants ,will perform on the job training in Czech Republic. Our participants will get competency in the subject of game and activity by watching especially games,activities,ronts,playing cards and dramas used in objectives teaching and they will transfer useful and good applications.Thus our teachers will get competency and ability of creating original games and activity so they will have the role of education leader in their schools and regions.Also students will enjoy and love their school because our teachers will process play and activity based learning.Students will gain the feeling of share,being schoolmate and co-operative learning.They will gain the ability of deal with problems especially about adolescence problems and their self confidence will develop thanks to student based learning. At this method where game and activity will perform,teachers will discover different types of student’s intelligence and they will lead students appropriately in Basic Education. The teachers will develop students’ physical and kinaesthetic intelligence,ability of healthy life by processing lessons appropriate for objectives of Game and Activity lesson. Our participants are Primary School Teachers, actively teach at the school.The mobility will perform in Czech Republic between the dates January 23-27 , 2017.
