Our school becomes aware of new cultures, we want to develop plans with other european countries, and we tend to modernize using new tehnologies, while improving our teaching in english. In our plan, 3 teachers should go to Oxford during 2 weeks in august (they will be in summer holidays) : 1 teacher to improve her english level and 2 teachers to increase their computer skills and learn to use the new technologies (these 2 women have already attended an english training last year.) The school plan will take place from next september untill june 2016. During the first school year, the 3 teachers and their pupils will correspond with an english partner, using ETwinning, and practise the new skills they have learned during their course (computer, web, video resources, audio files, blogging, powerpoint, movie making...) After that, they will train their colleagues and all the teachers of their school will take part in the plan during the second school year. Each class will have a different europeen partner, using ETwinning and the new technologies. The aim of our plan is to make our pupils conscious of their european appartenance, we want them to learn about others cultures, and practise the computer and the new technologies. The advantages of that plan is that the school will have a good reputation, with motivated teachers who will fit their skills with the computer science evolution and open up new horizons.
