We found our pupils need to boost the practice of their English language and we need to get more instruments to teach this language. So the teaching staff of primary school Jean Monnet in Ploudaniel wanted a project that aims to improve the time when pupils speak English, to improve motivation and pupils results in English. For this, three teachers qualified to teach English, and want to invest personally, volunteered to coordinate the project and to participate in mobility. During the stay in Oxford will be organized development and methodology courses, educational and cultural visits. We will be staying with a host which will encourage a daily practice of English immersion. The project team will, within the school to integrate a maximum of English in various teaching disciplines, promoting the practice of oral language in daily life, to improve European cultural knowledge while accentuating cooperation and exchange between pupils of different classes levels in our school. It will also be sharing this experience with the seven schools of priority education network. Our ambition is, through this project, to show a real European cultural dimension in our school through everyday and sustainable practices, to pool energies of everyone to the same aspiration.
