Job shadowing "Outdoor & Explore" is a project organized by Shokkin Group Estonia in cooperation with the Georgian Youth Association DRONI and will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia & national parks of Georgia during the period of 06.08-19.08.2016. The program, involves a trainee youth worker from Estonia to become competent in the outdoor projects & activities for young people through learning from the experts of the field in Georgia. The aim of the job shadowing is to strengthen international cooperation and raise the quality level of outdoor projects created and implemented in the organizations, through practice & active involvement in the outdoor preparation and planning process. Objectives of the job shadowing are:- To train the participant in creating plans for outdoor hiking trips & explore suitable routes for groups of young people; - To share experience of running outdoor experiential learning projects;- To share techniques used to motivate and involve young people in the outdoor environment;- To promote cooperation between organizations from EU and partner countries;- To discover possibilities of cooperation and plan future projects;- To give a chance to the participant to see the background work done when planning & preparing an outdoor project;- To create a manual for preparing and planning outdoor projects with practical tips and do's & don'ts.The job shadowing is designed to use a mixture of experiential & non-formal methods set in the outdoor environment alongside with discussions, exchange of practices, study visits. The job shadowing project is expected to result in an increase of capacity of Shokkin group Estonia to establish its planned outdoor division for the next season & a manual that can help all outdoor enthusiasts to plan and prepare outdoor educational activities for young people.
