This project was written to inform youth leaders on the poverty in europe resulting from lesser opportunity backgrounds and to teach them methods to combat it so that opportunities do not remain 'out of reach'! The youth workers will aquire the skills and knowledge to help youth with fewer opportunities to combat poverty. The participants will come from 8 different states of the European Union so as to diversify the group as much as possible and to have a healthy mixture of people with different visions and coming from countries of different exclusion issues. This will help promote multi-culturalism and international cooperation. The workshops / sessions will be entirely non-formal; starting from brief (but effective) ice-breakers and team-building activities at the beginning of the programme to cooperation between the participants to create their own projects and ways of combatting poverty and exclusion at the end of the week in Malta. The Youth Leaders will be able to share their experiences, difficulties and success stories. The duration of the training course will be of 7 working days.
