The project applicant is the 1st Elementary School Zruč nad Sázavou, of which long-term priorities include emphasis on quality in teaching foreign languages.By implementation of this project we want to achieve the following objectives (detailed description of the project objectives, their relation to long-term goals of the school and to those of programme Erasmus + are described in Section E of this application):- to raise awareness of foreign language teachers in modern teaching methods through their participation in methodological courses abroad,- to observe an approach to teaching foreign languages at partner school, to compare it with teaching at our school and to enrich mutually the teachers at partner school and our school through job-shadowing,- to gain practical experience in teaching foreign languages at the partner school, including feedback from students, through teaching assignment,- to exchange contacts with foreign participants of courses which will lead to further cooperation.We have planned following project activities according to the project objectives:- methodology courses for teachers of foreign languages,- job-shadowing for English teachers,- teaching assignment for English teachers.Five members of school staff will take part in the proposed project. They will participate in a total of five different activities.In addition to the mobility participants themselves, increased skills of teachers will have a positive impact on pupils who will be provided with quality teaching of foreign languages, and on the school for which it will mean an increase in the prestige.
