The project surveys, gathers and organizes natural and special attractions of Arad and Békés counties into joint programme offers. This way tourists coming in the cross-border regions and inhabitants living here will have the possibility to get to know each other’s' values and area better.. Within the project, specific tools and equipment are purchased for active tourism programmes, such as dragon boat, kayaks, bicycles, canoes, in order to be used for active tours throughout Koros Valley.The main activities of the project are the following: surveying, gathering attractions in the area, organizing thematic tours, joint marketing strategy development, publishing brochures and leaflets, upgrading of websites and study tours in Arad, in mid-Békés.The target group addressed is formed by all participants of the thematic programmes and tourists coming in the project area.Results: 10 Press conferences and media presentations; 2000 Leaflets; 6 exhibitions/fairs; 1 photo documentation, a dragon boat , 9 GPS for trekking, 22 bicycles, 10 pairs of Nordic Walking sticks, 10 canoes, 4 kayaks, 4 paddle boats, 2 mobile piers, 15.000 brochures with maps, 1 joint marketing strategy.
