The purpose of the project is to strengthen the regional memory and identity work in the Oresund Region. The project hopes to achieve this by:- creating a network between cultural and historical institutions in the region with the aim to communicate the regionâs history - to investigate the conditions and make a framework for a sustainable network in order to strengthen the Oresund dimension in the cultural institutions. - define the regions history and cultural heritage and see how it differs from other histories and cultural heritage of national, regional and local character - produce new historical knowledge and interpret existing historical knowledge in a regional perspective - improve communication on the internet to reach even more citizens and other interested people.At the same time the project hopes to create a basis for reflection on the regional identity both in the present and in the past.
