The project is a cooperation between the University Hospitals in Copenhagen and Lund and in this pre-project the aim is to discuss the possiblities of creating a centre for clinical competence in the Oresund Region. The centre should have international status as well as regional status and deal with different aspects of clinical competence, such as simulator training on clinical competence and the relation to quality of care and patient safety. Also the centre should promote the use of simulation in health professionalsâ education and influence the use of simulation based training as an integrated part in formal programmes of health professionals education.
