Aegean Connection is first hosting project of Dokuz Eylul University. In this project our first aim is raise awareness about European opportunities with using media and inform the youth in İzmir. With this aim we planned to increase to level of participation in to European mobility programmes. Our volunteer come from Greece and mainly work with this issue. Volunteer can plan own projects and use alternative non-formal information methods for young people in Izmir. Activity takes 10 months in Izmir. Project will effect a lot of young people in Izmir and be an example for them. Volunteer will organize information days and he/she can share own experiences with young people so she/he will be promoting the European projects. Besides, volunteer will have chance to use media as a tool to inform youth, also to make our office more visible among youngs, then we can reach more and more people. Volunteer can design some adio-visual materials through his/her skills for young people. So that he will contribute to understanding of EU opportunities and he will have chance to use these materials in real life and learn new skills.
