There is a geographic transfer project in which we have been able to spread and develop the results of the previous Crisis Project to the four new countries (Sweden, Poland, Bulgaria and the United Kingdom). The aim was finding priority factors that help companies to: get out of crisis, adapt to innovative production systems and the industrial competitiveness in Europe, and manage the risk in business especially to the environment, social responsibility and gender plan. This project have supported a sector transfer, as it has also focused on new economic areas (retail, healthcare and consultancy) than the previous one. Finally there have been a content transfer thanks to a particular attention to small businesses, as it is unlikely that these have a management strategy, and to the enrichment of the training contents with two new issues: work life balance and corporate social responsibility to help companies cope with this hard time. The results have been: a) revision, development and modernization of CRISIS products; b) enlargement of the set of indicators to the new sectors; c) testing the training modules efficiency in each country with a panel of reference testimonials; d) carrying out national case studies and finding suitable best practices to show; e) writing up of a suitable manual for the target groups; f) editing a web page with the information about the project, the possibility to interact with the partners, the possibility to establish a network and to disseminate the results; g) elaborating an innovative training module including several updated and suitable training competences; h) diffusing the project findings and results to more than 2000 interested institutions; i) writing up 8 project newsletters to be widely diffused; j) organizing a final conference in Coimbra to present the project results; k) contacting suitable enterprises and other key stakeholders to exploit the results; l) strengthening of participating enterprises, institutions and their employees.Quality has been measured through a specially designed system for this project. An adequate diffusion of the information, results and events, have been carried out along the project.
