In this project we apply funding for five of our teachers to join an international course of education in some European country. Each teacher has been eager to have the chance to participate the courses in order to improve their teaching skills, competences in foreign languages, and their skills and attitude to take part in shared projects in our school. The premises are very good for learning something new. Our school and the local organizer of education, Saarijärvi municipal, both encourage teachers to participate in international teacher courses. Each applicant will improve their subject management, teaching skills, competence of of foreign languages and communality in shared projects in the schools. The European added value of these courses are the experiences in a new cultural background with the new teaching surroundings and new curricula and new teaching attitudes. While we are learning we can share our own experiences and ways of organizing teaching. During the courses/job shadowing period we get to know the personnel of the school, stakeholders, organizers of the education, we discuss the teaching arrangements, currula, supporting the students and assessing the students. On the other hand we also learn about the students' possibilities to be heard in the schools. We bring a lot of information about teaching the kernal subject, foreign language skills, information about the student issues. We are going to use the reflective method, all the teachers write a daily diary. They write it on the net as well, this enables us to follow daily that the course is really what it was supposed to be. After the course each teacher will of course write a report for Cimo and for the school team of international affairs. The results will be shared during the lessons in our teaching, on our net site, on the official school net site, in our cooperation with the parents, in social media groups, where teachers share their comments and experiences. In several activities that the whole school takes part in. The results will definitely be shown in our work as we finalize the strategy of international affairs in our school and in Saarijärvi.
