Koli school is in long-distance area with few teachers. School needs multi-skilled international teachers to offer equal opportunities to the students. Motivated teachers must be given the opportunity to develop and participate in their own school reform . The aim of the project is to raise the standard of education of the school , students' satisfaction and motivation of teachers. And also to prepare for the curriculum renewal in 2016 .
The school's challenging educational groups require different teaching methods and team management skills . The project is designed for courses that focus on action methods in teaching and the class group dynamics and social interaction.
The national park area next to being given their own special mark on the school and it is therefore important that you know how to use the nature as a learning environment in many ways. The project one point is to learn how to use nature as learning environment. In long distant area distance learning and computer -based learning platforms are the key methods to bring educational equality. Koli has good and new ICT tools and Teachers must know how to use of ICT as a teaching tool - the project has been designed course using ICT in teaching.
Koli is an international tourist center and when students grow up their most likely employment is going to be in tourism. Language skills and intercultural communication is very important for the whole Koli area. All the cources planned in the project are aimed to
get international contacts and also language skills. The project is expected to bring to the school of international relations , language skills, better learning outcomes, and school satisfaction . The project results will be disseminated in our own school and in Lieksa southern area schools and in the social network.
