Project ""Openess to diversity trought community education", ODEonThe project aim is to develop methodological recommendations for adults with disadvantaged backgrounds inclusion into the education, organizing adult educators training and exchange of experience. The Strategic Framework for European Cooperation in Education and Training (ET 2020) says that in 2020 in education will be involved 15% of adults from age 25 to 64 years old. The Target group, who experiencing difficulties to involve in education, is disadvantage peoples: people with a low standard of living, people from remote or rural areas, immigrants, young people in long-term unemployment or poverty. The Project aims at promoting equity and inclusion by facilitating the access to participants with disadvantaged backgrounds. For that purpose will be developed methodological recommendations for the inclusion of disadvantage peoples in education. The project participants will be adult educators, they will learning and share their innovative experience at 3 training sessions. Between the sessions they will be tested to adapt the experience of their country and distribute it in their community. The project partners are Organizations with different experience in area of adult education: Kurzeme planning region from Latvia, Teatro Nucleo from Italy and NGO from Cyprus.
