The project WOW! Europe! was implemented by the Foundation of Borderland Culture in Lublin within 12 months. The aim of the project was to increase knowledge about Europe, the mechanisms of its action, the structures; stimulation to discussion about the future of Europe and the role of youth in its shaping. Through regular meetings of the Discussion Club and organized a discussion meeting with youth, students and volunteers of the Foundation was undertaken important issues that are motivated to take active citizenship, actions for own community, the responsibility for the shape of social life in its immediate vicinity. The volunteer from Ukraine Roman Zadorozhnyy organized meetings of Club, debates and participated in meetings promoting his own culture, country, tradition, the European Voluntary Service and the Erasmus + to the other young people could take opportunities and get advantage of this great program of personal development. By working in the office and help with the organization of the Foundation's initiatives such as festival Ukraine in the center of Lublin, European Days of Good Neighbourhood and other volunteer gained new experience, got acquainted with the functioning of NGOs in Poland to use acquired knowledge after back home. Volunteer gained new knowledge, expanded his organizational and social competencies, gained new skills associated with working in an international group, learn the Polish language, became more independent. The volunteer has developed his interpersonal skills, creativity, and responsibility, empathy, tolerance and understanding for others.
