According to the data of the Department of Cancer, Public Health Agency of Turkey, about 97.000 men and 62.000 women, a total of 159.000 people get cancer in our country every year. True diagnosis, appropriate treatments, supportive care, rehabilitation services and access to palliative care are right of all patients suffering from cancer and these services must be improved and their continuity must be ensured. A successful cancer diagnosis and treatment process is only possible through the cooperation of all institutions and the presence of qualified health personnel. Therefore, the National Cancer Control Programme includes the increase of the health personnel specialized in the area and their qualifications. That the frequency of cancer cases is increasing each passing day is also increasing the need for the nurses serving in this field every day. It is highly important for the nurses, who undertake a critical task in the process of treatment and care of oncology patients, to begin their careers as the health personnel who is well-trained, has a wide professional experience and is very competent on the intricacies of the profession related to how to approach the patient. The project period will be divided into three parts: the pre-mobility period, the mobility period and the post-mobility period. The most important point will be to inform the students at every stage, to guide them and to ensure their security. For the proper function of decision making mechanism, a project team will be initially formed and the task definition of each team member will be specific. Also a project schedule will be prepared and we will act upon this schedule. In the short term, the students will improve themselves personally and professionally and gain work experience, which will provide great convenience for them when they begin the career; will comprehend the European values on site and increase their cultural heritage. In this way, it is planned to reduce the difficulties the students have when they begin the career. In the long term, our project will make contributions to the development of our institutional education, the transfer of the European methods used in health services, the increase of our graduate quality and of our institutional prestige accordingly.
