The One world Youth Gathering 2010 is the 4th in a series of annual international youth events, focussing on the idea of World Citizenship. This year the event is a joint venture between The Gemma Blu Association from Italy, Den Blå paraply from Denmark and the Shalom Template Movement from Israel. The project is a 3.1 youth exchange.The exchange is set in the Pioneering village of Åbakke in Denmark. Around 50 persons(youngsters between 13 and 28 + leaders) are participating in the exchange that takes place from the 30th of July to the 8th of August.It is hoped that the exchange will foster a platform of trust, understanding, tolerance, hope and respect for self and others. Activities will include explorations into music, arts and crafts, the history of community life, language, nature and ecology. The participants will also bulid an eco-sustainable straw bale hut.
